Motorcycle enthusiasts and supporters are invited to join the fifth annual charity Ride for Recovery on Saturday, August 6, 2022, to benefit Natchaug Hospital Adult Ambulatory Programs and the Veterans Base Camp of Chaplin, Connecticut.
The event features a police-escorted, one-hour benefit ride from Natchaug Rivereast, 428 Hartford Turnpike in Vernon, through five towns ending with a pig roast at the Veterans Base Camp at 108 England Road in Chaplin.
The ride is sponsored by Natchaug Hospital and the MFC Motorcycle Club East Conn Chapter, which is comprised of military, firefighters and law enforcement personnel. This group of likeminded individuals come from all over the state to host and support fundraisers for local charities and non-profit organizations.
Donation is $30 per bike with prizes are awarded for first, second and third place. Sponsorships are available. Check-in begins at 10 a.m. with the ride beginning at 11 a.m.
Natchaug Hospital Adult Ambulatory Programs provide clients with structured clinical treatment for their psychiatric or chemical dependency issues without inpatient care. Veterans Base Camp is a grassroots, faith-based charitable nonprofit organization dedicated to providing resources to veterans, first responders, caregivers and the most vulnerable in the community.
