Dr. Stephen C. Yu, a urologist with Hartford HealthCare’s Tallwood Urology & Kidney Institute, is now accepting patients at a new Charlotte Hungerford Hospital Specialty Care practice at 76 Watertown Road in Thomaston.
Dr. Yu’s interests and expertise include Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy, Botox, Erectile Dysfunction, Incontinence, Interstim Continence Control System, Low Testosterone, Men’s Health, Men’s Health and Sexual Function, Prostate Cancer, Stones, Testopel Device, Truss Biopsy and Vasectomy.
“We are excited to add urology services to the expanding provider offerings at our greater Thomaston area location and offer a warm welcome to Dr. Yu,” said Daniel J. McIntyre, President, Charlotte Hungerford Hospital and Senior Vice President, Hartford HealthCare Northwest Region.
Dr. Yu, shown above, is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Clinical Instructor at the University of Connecticut School Of Medicine. He attended medical school at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Yu completed both his internship in General Surgery and his Residency in Urology at New York University Medical Center.
Dr. Yu shares an office with Neurologist Nabi Chowdhury of the Hartford HealthCare Ayer Neuroscience Institute and Hartford HealthCare podiatrists Ali Benish, Dennis D’Onofrio and Darren Winkler. The office also offers providers from CHH Nutrition Services and the Hartford HealthCare Heart & Vascular Institute. The office is in the same complex as Hartford HealthCare Primary Care Thomaston, which includes Site Director Dr. Kenrick Hom and APRNs Siena Giordano, Thayer Clark, and Melanie Mollica.
